You are welcome to use the pantry if you are a resident of North Reading or attend a church in North Reading. Please bring an ID and proof of residency, such as a utility bill, with you at your first visit.
Clients may use the pantry two times each month -- they can shop every other week. We offer both perishable and non-perishable foods to supplement the food available from other sources.
The pantry is located at 150 Haverhill Street in the center of town, and is open for client shopping Monday mornings from 9:30am - 11:00am, and on the 1st and 3rd Monday evenings from 6:30pm - 8:00pm.
We are open on most Monday holidays, except Memorial Day and Labor Day, when we are open on Tuesday. Also, if July 4th, Christmas, and New Year's Day fall on a Monday or if there is a snow "no school" day, we will inform our clients when we will open.
In-person shopping is back! Clients may notice some changes have been made to the way the room is accessed to comply with social distancing best practices. Your patience and cooperation is appreciated. Thank you!
In addition to the pantry, Christian Community Services (CCS) provides many additional services throughout the year.
Please call 978-276-0040 with any questions!
In addition to food, Christian Community Services (CCS) can help you access additional resources for assistance.
